San Cisco are a three-piece indie pop group hailing from Fremantle, Western Australia. Throughout their illustrious career, the group have become one of Australia’s most successful independent artists amassing multiple accolades, gold and platinum records, Top 5 Aria Charting Positions and much more. Garnering millions of streams and critical acclaim through the release of five studio albums, San Cisco has toured the world selling out headline shows, touring with artists such as The Vaccines and appearing at flagship global festivals such as Splendour In The Grass, Lollapalooza, Reading & Leeds, Pukkelpop, Laneway Festival, Groovin’ The Moo and many more.
Ruby Fields has been growing up in public since rising to national fame in 2017. After a string of successful singles and EPs, Ruby solidified her position as the iconoclastic songwriter Australia needed with her 2021 debut album, Been Doin’ It For A Bit. With new music on the way in 2025, Ruby is keeping fans on the edge of their seats, eager to see what bold and brilliant chapter she unveils next.
There are those rare bands that, once you step into their sonic world, captivate you entirely. Western Australia's breakout band DICE is one of those bands. Comprising Ben Hodge, Tom King, Regan Beazley, and Sam Barrett-Lennard, in 2024 DICE invited listeners into their vibrant universe with their debut album Midnight Zoo — a world from which there's no turning back.
After a chance meeting at a backyard party and bonding over their diverse tastes in music, it took some convincing to get all members of South Summit to join the band. Now one of Perth’s most talked about live bands, the five guys can’t imagine doinganything else. Hidden away from the East Coast music scene – South Summit has created a unique sound, not influenced by what the rest of the country is doing.
The Buoys are a Sydney-based all-female indie rock band celebrated for their infectious melodies, fuzzy guitars, and high-energy live shows. Bursting out of the local DIY scene, they’ve released three acclaimed EPs, including the breakout single Lie To Me Again, which hit #85 in Triple J’s Hottest 100. Known for their sold-out performances, The Buoys have shared stages with Arctic Monkeys, IDLES, and Royal Blood, earning a reputation as an essential live act. With honest lyricism and dynamic instrumentation, they push boundaries in the indie guitar scene. Their debut album, Lustre, arrives July 2024, featuring singles Ahead of Myself, Check Mate, and Guard My Heart.
Tickets to the event are only $35 – or $30 each in a package of four. They are on sale now and are expected to sell out quickly.
Hyper will be held at the LoCale event space and Weeip Park in the New Junction precinct, at the corner of Cale Street and The Crescent in Midland.
Presented by the City of Swan and supported by triple j and Edith Cowan University, Hyper is an all-ages event that is drug, smoke and alcohol-free. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
