Mergo launches their highly anticipated EP at Lyric's Underground, Maylands with support from acoustic indie-folk trio Symmetrical Dogs, rock up-and-comers Luna Archives, and indie-pop singer-songwriter Alistair Leonard. Recorded with acclaimed producer Rob Grant, Mergo's debut EP is a collection of songs that detail the genesis of the band, written over a four-year period before finally taking shape in the studio. The resulting EP is a varied portrait of alternative rock, featuring four contrasting tracks with influences ranging from the punchy grunge of Soundgarden to the whirling shoegaze textures of My Bloody Valentine
With support from some of Perth's most exciting emerging artists, this will be a night not to be missed for fans of nineties inspired alternative music.
