QZB
Anyone thirsting for conventional sounds is at the wrong address. QZB roll up Drum’n’Bass anew – precise, focused and with a dynamic that is infectious.
Since 2012, they have been putting their heads together and constantly working on the per- fection of their recipes. The impressive interim result: sold out club nights, festival appearances all over Europe and releases on the hottest label for visions of the future, Critical Music.
This success is no accident. From the very beginning, razor-sharp percussion and an unmistakably forward-looking overall aesthetics provided enthusiasm on the dance floors. Hip hop and breaks are just as much a source of inspiration as italo disco or jazz – knowing that reaching new worlds also means breaking with the past. Borders are not yet in sight.
CHARLI BRIX
Charli Brix is a South London-born singer, songwriter, DJ, and producer renowned for her work in underground music. Best known for her distinctive voice in drum & bass, she’s spent the past five years honing a recognisable sound, weaving garage, breaks, jungle, and contemporary club influences
through her live sets, releases and radio shows.
A regular on stages from Glastonbury to Fabric, she has supported artists including Denai Moore, Alfa Mist, Mungo’s Hi-Fi, and DJ Marky. As a DJ, she has performed at iconic events including Glastonbury Festival, Fabric,
Printworks, Keep Hush, and Red Bull Odyssey, toured across North America and Asia, and held a five-year residency with SWU FM.
Her songwriting credits include collaborations with Break and Pola & Bryson,
an EA Sports sync, and over 10 million streams worldwide. One of the first female artists to combine live vocals with DJ sets, Charli’s high-energy performances move fluidly between tempos and moods, rooted in a deep love of bass music.
Alongside her work as a recording and touring artist, Charli Brix is active across cultural, educational and community-led projects within electronic music. She has been invited to host Hospital Records Women in Music workshops supporting aspiring DJs and songwriters, and has performed at the Drum and Bass Arena Awards, where she has been a seven-year consecutive nominee.
