Internationally renowned Melbourne duo Oh Pep! are back with their sophomore effort I Wasn’t Only Thinking About You…(October 26th ATO Records). Today the duo shared the second single and accompanying video - "Hurt Nobody”. Twenty-year-old director Emily Dynes led an all female team in the production of the video saying..

"‘Hurt Nobody’ touched me from the very first time I heard it. The song encapsulates a very guttural, raw and female type of pain, so it felt like natural fit to bring together a young female led team of creatives for the project. It was an absolute privilege to work on such a beautiful song for a band I deeply admire, and a complete joy to spend three days shooting and dancing across the mountains in the alpine region of Victoria, Australia." The video features performer Cecilia Low.

In exciting live news, Oh Pep! have just announced a run of headline Australian shows for summer. Kicking off December 1st in their hometown of Melbourne, the I Wasn’t Only Thinking About You…album tour will also hit Brisbane, Adelaide, Fremantle, Perth and Sydney. Tickets are on sale now. The Duo will also be preforming at festivals like Queenscliff and Fairgrounds plus headline and support dates through North America and Europe next month with Gregory Alan Isakov and Middle Kids.

Released via ATO Records/People Speak on October 26, I Wasn’t Only Thinking About You… is the follow up to 2016’s critically acclaimed debut Stadium Cake. A debut that garnered international praise from the likes of NPR, who said they were “thoughtful, deep, funny, and poetic.” The New York Times marveledat how adept they were at “sharing a melody that’s both angular & affectionate” and Paste magazine opined about their “stomping, earthy energy”.

I Wasn’t Only Thinking About You… was written and recorded across New York, Nashville, L.A and Melbourne – with the majority recorded at home in Melbourne with Australian producer and artist Joel Quartermain (Eskimo Joe). The album, mixed by Marky Wallis (Talking HeadsREMThe Go-BetweensU2) immediately captures Oh Pep!’s spirit, curiosity and imminent likeability, while thoughtfully exploring the melody-rich expanse between indie pop and alt-folk - a new genre spearheaded by artists like Angie McMahonJulia Jacklin and Lucius.
