Blak Tui 'Interspersed' Album Release
with The Points, Post Nut Clarity & Good Grief

This high energy three piece rock band was formed in 2019. Founding member, guitarist and vocalist Chris Reidy was joined by the hard rock driving bassist Nick Haggarty, and the hard hitting hard rock drummer Darren Webb to form Blak Tui. From mid 2019 and with the release of their debut album ‘In Colours’, the band set out to begin the Blak Tui movement.
By 2020, Blak Tui was a house hold name in the Perth rock music scene. Headlining shows throughout Perth such as Amplifier Bar and Clancy’s Freo. They supported bands such as Legs Electric, Electric State and Dunsborough’s own Dallas Radio.
In mid 2022, they headed back into Lamb Chop Studios with James Newhouse to record their second album ‘Interspersed’ before releasing the album in June 2023. Shortly after releasing the album, the band broke up for personal reasons. So the album was never performed live. Until now. Almost three years after its release, Chris and Darren have rejoined forces. And joining them on the bass guitar for this massive comeback tour is a very special guest, long time friend and bass lord, Julian Price.
Their music showcases what has inspired over years of life, music, work and play. With elements of Shihad, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and The Foo Fighters, yet through a hard-rock-tough-funk/melodic-pop filter that is very much their own
