The Rocky Horror Picture Show (M, 1975) Presented in 35mm Film by The Revival House Perth

Newly engaged couple Brad Majors (Barry Bostwick) and Janet Weiss (Susan Sarandon) find themselves stranded on a dark, stormy night after their car breaks down near a mysterious, isolated castle. Seeking shelter, the wholesome pair is drawn into the bizarre world of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a flamboyant, cross-dressing mad scientist from the planet Transsexual, Transylvania, who has just completed his latest creation: a muscular, artificial man named Rocky. As Brad and Janet's innocent sensibilities collide with Frank-N-Furter's gleefully transgressive household of eccentric characters and unrestrained hedonism, the increasingly bewildered couple find their own desires and identities transformed by a night of glam-rock musical mayhem unlike anything they've ever experienced.

Director Jim Sharman adapts Richard O'Brien's cult stage musical into a gleefully campy, genre-bending celebration of B-movie horror, science fiction schlock, and unrestrained sexual liberation. Tim Curry's iconic, magnetic performance as Frank-N-Furter established one of cinema's most enduring cult figures, blending menace, seduction, and theatrical excess into an unforgettable screen presence. The film's infectious glam-rock soundtrack, featuring now-legendary numbers like "Time Warp" and "Sweet Transvestite," has become inseparable from its decades-long midnight movie tradition, where audiences worldwide continue to attend screenings in costume, performing call-and-response rituals alongside the film. Few films have achieved the singular cultural phenomenon status of Rocky Horror, its gleeful embrace of camp, queerness, and audience participation cementing its permanent place in cinema history.

Original format and audio experience of this film faithfully reproduced by The Revival House. Presented in 35mm film unless noted otherwise.
