DUMB IT DOWN
Written by singer/songwriter, Laith Tierney (Former Bible Bashers & Fear Of Comedy frontman), ‘DUMB IT DOWN’ is a scathing indictment on a world where stupidity is celebrated, ignorance is applauded and art is reduced to formula. Naturally, the song rejects formula. In pursuit of dopamine, the track races through genre and style - faster than an ADHD kid swipes through videos on tiktok. Parts layered like spinning plates, packed in tighter than a clown car.
Scheduled to drop JULY 1st on bandcamp, ‘DUMB IT DOWN’ features guitarists Jozef Grech (Datura 4, Timothy Nelson) and Aidan Gordon (Rineharts, Reductors), drummer Nathan Sproule (Ratking), bassist Liam Adams (Fear of Comedy), Ron Pollard (Tangled Thoughts of Leaving) on piano/synth and Laith Tierney on vocals. Engineered and Produced by Ron Pollard at Sleepwalkers Dread. Mastered by William Bowden at King Willy Sound.
