For the Jumper 2026

18 teams. 18 bands. Two songs each. FOR THE JUMPER is back for 2026 on Friday 25 September at the Rosemount Hotel - Grand Final Eve!

After 10 successful years bringing together footy fans and music lovers in Melbourne, FOR THE JUMPER made its Perth debut last year at the Rosemount Hotel to much acclaim. Safe to say, it's a new tradition we're warming to in WA, and already doing better than the Vics.

For those new to the tradition, For The Jumper features a lineup of acts, each representing a different AFL team. Performance order on the night is based on the team's finishing position on the ladder, starting with the bottom team—hello Essendon fans—and building up to a top of the table showdown. For 2026 we have assembled a line up of some of Perth’s Best and Fairests to take on the teams while our MC Axel Carrington will antagonise rivalries and test your knowledge with useless footy trivia - all for a bizarrely beautiful blend of music and footy...

Brought to you by RTRFM, the Rosemount Hotel and Auxiliary Records, all proceeds from the event will go to Reclink WA and Synapse Australia.

So come along and raise funds for a great cause, raise the curtain for the AFL Grand Final and Perth's Community Cup and raise your glass to local music - on Friday September 25 at the Rosemount Hotel.
