A triple bill of country folk touring acts!
Rachel Laven (USA) is a self-proclaimed “Outlaw Folk” artist whose music is steeped in the Texas songwriting tradition. Raised in a musical family in San Antonio, she wrote her first song at 10 and recorded a debut album with her family band, The Lavens, by 13. Her early start laid the foundation for a presence onstage that is sincere, assured, and soulful.
Shaped by influences like Susan Gibson, Brandi Carlile, Guy Clark, and Sheryl Crow, Rachel’s breakthrough came in 2016 when she won the prestigious New Folk Songwriting Competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival. That same year she released her second album, Love & Luccheses, showcasing warm vocals and intimate lyrics exploring love in all its forms.
Now based in Nashville and working on her third full-length album, Rachel has toured extensively across the U.S. and Europe, captivating audiences with her storytelling and genuine stage presence. Whether performing solo or with a full band, her songs resonate on a deeply personal level.
Joining her for this special night are rising Australian Americana/Alt Folk artist Vanessa Jade (NSW south coast), and Albert The Second, hailing from Victoria's rugged South-West and who delivers songs and stories with a laidback feel that come straight from the heart.
