Four years on from Neanderthal Jam (2022), Datura4 return with their sixth album High on the Low Brow (Alive Naturalsound), once again recorded in their hometown of Fremantle, Western Australia. With Dom Mariani at the helm, it’s another eclectic fusion of blues-rock, boogie, and psychedelia, glued together by sharp songwriting, strong hooks and powerful riffs built from live and loose workouts the band have built their reputation on.

DATURA4 – HISTORY BIO
Originating in 2009 out of the port city of Fremantle DATURA4 can be best be described as a ballsy return to full-tilt boogie, psych rock and hard rocking blues with their own original spin on things. Formed and fronted by Dom Mariani of legendary Oz garage rockers The Stems have released 5 acclaimed albums on US label Alive-Natural Records to date; ‘Demon Blues’ (2015), Hairy Mountain (2016), Blessed is the Boogie (2019) West Coast Highway Cosmic (2020) and Neanderthal Jam (2022). These albums and subsequent tours of the east coast and Europe along with features in Classic Rock Magazine (UK) Rolling Stone, Rhythms Magazine (Aust), Blow Up (Italy) Fireworks Magazine (UK), Blues Magazine (US), Viva Le Rock (UK) and Shindig Magazine (UK) just to name a few, have garnered them widespread acclaim.
They have also had the honour of opening up for the legendary ZZ Top, Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul, The Cruel Sea, The Pretty Things, The Dictators, The Hoodoo Gurus, New Zealand guitar legend Kevin Borich, Earthless, Endless Boogie, The Godfathers, Jon Spencer Tumbleweed, X and You Am I.
