Michael Savage ‘My Lot’ Single Launch

Michael Savage (of alt-country darlings The Little Lord Street Band) returns with a new solo single ‘My Lot’ - launching at Lyrics Underground on Friday June 19.
‘My Lot’ is lush, ear-pleasing powerpop in the vein of the classics - Teenage Fanclub, Big Star et al. - with period 70s production foregrounding guest pedal steel from ‘Evil’ Graham Lee (The Triffids).
Recorded to tape (sans click) by Brod at Tunafish and mixed by 2025 WAM Producer of the Year Dylan Ollivierre, it’s taken from Savage’s forthcoming fifth solo album that he’s framing as his ‘Laurel Canyon’ record.
Savage’s dynamic 6-piece band is fresh from recent supports for The Brian Jonestown Massacre (US) and Gunman and the Holy Ghost (IS), and as always will be threading the needle between his pop-psych and alt-country back catalog and road-testing some new songs.
Joining them will be local icons Split Seconds playing a rare show, Adrian Hoffmann (of The Morning Night, Marley Wynn and more recently acclaimed for his tours with Steve Kilbey of The Church amongst other notable projects) debuting a new band, and charming alt-country newcomers The Stumblers.
