Lazy Haze started like any great friendship should. Great Music, amazing atmosphere and copious amounts of passion. Devin (Lead singer) and Kirwan (Lead Guitarist) dropped into each other's lives at the perfect time! Life was complicated for the two, behind closed doors, but this only proved to be the perfect concoction to something great! The boys started swiftly writing songs on acoustic guitars in Kirwan's living room, growing a faster and stronger bond with every string struck and note sung. The two promptly had a solid set list ready to take stage at Indi Bar, Perth's cornerstone of up and coming musos but were missing arguably the two most important things in a band. This being a solid drummer and steady bass player. Ashton, Devin's younger brother, quickly made himself known and basically forced himself into the band as soon as he caught wind of the project. Ethan (Bassist) and his involvement would come a few gigs later as the band's sound would solidify into the perfect blend of gritty guitar riffs and punchy lyrics, creating a style that feels both nostalgic and distinctly their own.
Still early in their journey, Lazy Haze have already proven themselves to be one of Boorloo’s most promising new indie acts WITHOUT LEAVING THE STATE. With a growing discography, a busy schedule of live performances, and a strong connection with their audience, the band continues to push forward and is determined to make their mark on Australia’s independent music landscape.
