Perth’s first Amusement Audio takeover – celebrating 10 years of the label

Step into The Bird, one of Perth’s finest intimate live-music venues, as Amusement Audio brings a full-spectrum 7-hour Drum & Bass session to the heart of the city. With a tight 170-capacity room, a powerful club surround sound system enhanced by 4x stage-mounted floor subwoofers, and six exclusive DJ performances, this Sunday session is designed for pure connection between artist, sound system, and dancefloor.

Running from 3pm – 10pm, BASS @ THE BIRD delivers the perfect way to close out your weekend in style. Whether you’re new to Drum & Bass or a long-time head, expect a journey through the full spectrum of the genre — from classic jungle and 2000's favourites through to current upfront dancefloor, jump-up, rollers, tech, and liquid.

Grab a bite from The Bird’s excellent kitchen menu, enjoy a pint with friends, and make use of the outdoor terrace and smoking area between sets while the vibes roll all afternoon and evening.

Glitch City (UK) – 2 Hour DJ Set 🇬🇧

One of the standout names in modern dancefloor Drum & Bass, Glitch City first broke through in 2016 as the debut signing to The Prototypes’ Get Hype Records. His breakout single Black Hole Skank premiered via BBC Radio 1 and UKF, launching a catalogue supported by heavyweights including Sub Focus, Calyx & Teebee, Andy C, Matrix & Futurebound, DJ Hype, and DJ SS.

With releases across Technique Recordings, Viper Recordings, ProgRAM, Formation Records, and collaborations with DJ Rap, Glitch continues to push high-energy forward-thinking sounds worldwide. Performance highlights include Fabric London residency, World of Drum & Bass USA Tour, and appearances at Let It Roll. Expect exclusives, promos, and peak-time pressure across a rare extended 2-hour set. @glitchcityuk

Diminish (Classics to Current) 🎤🎧

Formerly known as Xsessiv, London-born and Perth-raised Diminish has been a cornerstone of the WA Drum & Bass scene since the late ’90s. From early rave culture appearances to becoming the youngest official resident MC across major Perth promoters including MFI, Delirium, Rise, Origin Fields, Boomtick Events and more, his influence runs deep.

Personally selected as MC for Pendulum’s Hold Your Colour tour and touring alongside Sigma, he’s also been requested by legends including LTJ Bukem, Danny Byrd, Culture Shock, S.P.Y., and DJ Marky. With releases on Fokuz, Central Station, Interphase, Xelon, and Takeoff Recordings, expect a powerful journey bridging eras from foundational classics to modern selections. @iamdiminish

Lust b2b Scylla – 90 Minute Set

Two rising selectors combining forces for a special extended back-to-back session. Expect dynamic blends across multiple DnB styles with energy built specifically for the Sunday session dancefloor.

Scylla is a UK-born, Perth-based Drum & Bass DJ blending the sounds of Neurofunk, Dancefloor, and Rollers. With over four years of experience behind the decks, she’s now fully focused on her craft and stepping into production, with debut releases on the horizon. Known for her high-energy sets and sharp selection, Scylla draws from the UK underground to deliver dynamic, bass-driven performances.

Dr Telefunken – Tech Roller Exclusive

Architect of Traction Soundsystem and a longstanding figure in the Perth bass scene, DR TELEFUNKEN combines technical turntable skill with a catalogue of original productions and tech roller selections. Having supported artists including Alix Perez, SpectraSoul, Dub FX, Mampi Swift, Black Sun Empire and Opiuo, his sets deliver precision mixing, forward-thinking sound design and powerful low-end pressure shaped by over a decade behind the decks.  Showcasing his debut EP on Amusement Audio, this one is not to be missed loud and live on the rig. @drtelefunkenbrad

Smokescreen (Traction Sound)

A dedicated bass music advocate and founder of Traction Soundsystem, known for versatile Drum & Bass selections spanning soulful liquid through to heavyweight rollers. SMOKESCREEN blends familiar tracks with creative layering and experimentation to shape immersive dancefloor atmospheres. Following recent appearances at Rain Dance and Blossom Festivals, he brings deep selections and system-focused energy to the Traction Soundsystem experience. @smokescreen_dnb

Bluey (Debut – Perth DJ Hub)

Bluey is a local 24y/o DJ with 5 years of experience behind the decks. Known for his versatility across genres, this set marks his debut into Drum & Bass — a sound he’s been deeply passionate about for years and slowly building his own productions. Working at Perth DJ Hub, Bluey brings high energy and a genuine love for the crowd with every performance.  Get into the venue early and support this newcomer from the start. @justmebluey
