New Nausea and Kisses (VIC) Double Album Launch - Fremantle
To celebrate the release of each band's second albums, Walyalup/Fremantle's New Nausea and Naarm/Melbourne's Kisses are hosting a very special evening of alt-folk and indie music at the magnificent Fremantle Buffalo Club.
New Nausea's heartfelt but playful album "Music for Frogs" will be welcomed out of the ooze in physical format, a bright pink trnasluscent vinyl, thanks to New Zealand Label Holiday Records and Perth's Rockton Records. "Music for Frogs" has been six years in the making. It’s a storied album of a pursuit of self belief, community, and love out from the swamps of grief and anxiety. New Nausea's live performances reflect the album's humour, playfulness and catharsis.
Kisses are making their first visit to WA to accompany the release of their stunning second album "You Are In My Dreams". Their music is utterly beautiful, whimsical, and touching, and with this being their first visit to our side of the country, folk fans should not miss this rare chance to see one of Australia's best up and coming independent bands.
Also performing are two of WAs finest indie folk groups, the gorgeous and soothing Clove and the ever-explorative and enchanting Nika Mo.
This will be a night of folk and indie music of rare quality and depth, please come along and support independent original music!
