Perth’s own progressive jazz group, Sky Machine, are bringing their epic soundscapes back to Lyrics Underground for a night of mind-bending improvisation. Fresh off the release of their album and accompanying graphic novel, the band will be exploring compositions from their recent release.

Sky Machine’s debut album is a fusion of jazz, funk and metal. It blends intricate compositions with expansive, otherworldly soundscapes. The music is both thematic and immersive, drawing listeners into a rich universe where jazz improvisation meets science fiction. Complementing the album, the graphic novel explores a cosmic narrative, weaving an expansive sci-fi saga of exploration, mystery, and discovery.
