SAVE THE DATE FOR RTRFM’s IN THE PINES 2025.

RTRFM’s iconic local music fest In the Pines will take place for an incredible 32nd time in the beautiful surrounds of UWA’s Somerville Auditorium on Sunday 13 April. This year sees 20 of WA’s best artists across two stages. The line-up will be released to you on Breakfast With Pam, Monday 10 March.

In The Pines is WA’s original boutique music festival, and is renowned for having been a platform for many of the iconic bands who have made a mark in WA over the past three decades. With lineup slots highly coveted by up-and-coming artists, Pines is the ultimate snapshot of WA music, year in and year out, showcasing the best in established and emerging local acts.

In 2025 we will also continue our sensory zone in collaboration with Enable WA and supported by Plico Energy; a space for neurodivergent punters and those who need a break from the noise to chill out.

We’ll be broadcasting all the happenings live on your radio from 11:30am - 9:30pm at 92.1FM, and on digital and online at rtrfm.com.au. First Release Tickets are available now from Oztix.com or rtrfm.com.au. These tickets are very limited so get in quick before general release goes on sale.

Kids under-12 are free. Kids between 12 - 18 must buy a ticket and be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Gold Subscribers to RTRFM enter free; you can grab your ticket via Oztix using the code on your Gold Card. Companion card holders can also enter free. In the Pines is a LGTBQIA+ safe and friendly event.

In The Pines is proudly supported by City of Perth, Plico Energy, Enable WA, Whitelakes Brewing Co, Shelter Brewing Co, CCA Productions, Whipper Snapper  Distillery and Beerfarm. RTRFM acknowledges that this event and all our activities take place on Whadjuk Noongar Country. We pay our respects to elders past and present. We acknowledge the importance of art and culture in First Nations history and are deeply grateful to create and share on this land.

SAFETY AND ACCESSIBILITY:

RTRFM events aim to be a safe space for self-expression, fun and community. Your safety is our number one priority. We will not tolerate any unfriendly, aggressive or offensive behaviour. If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable at any point please speak to an RTRFM or the venue staff.

In The Pines is fully accessible with paths and hard compact ground in most areas. Entrances and exits are 3m in width and accessible toilets are available for use. There are grassed areas and RTRFM volunteers and staff will be on hand to assist where needed.

We will also have clearly visible Pines Pals around the venue to help with any accessibility needs, including helping order and grab food from food vans which will be at a height, point out the toilets and maneuver around people where needed. There will also be a sensory zone managed by Enable WA which will be on hand for people who need a break from noise and over stimulation.

Some flashing lights will be in use but no strobe lighting will be on site. Auslan interpretation will not be available. Please also note UWA Somerville has changed their ground coverings from mulch to a harder pebble. Although you can still picnic we suggest bringing cushions and a few extra blankets to make your picnic more comfortable. The position of the main stage will also move forward 4 metres but there will still be plenty of space for you all.

If you have any accessibility enquiries please email admin@rtrfm.com.au
