Primus Vs. Mr Bungle - A Night of Kooky Covers

A collective of Perth’s cover kings are paying tribute to experimental funk rock titans PRIMUS and MR. BUNGLE in this mega double-feature!

Some say the works of Primus and Mr. Bungle were far ahead of their time, redefining genres and subverting listener expectations in a myriad of stupefying ways – others dismissed their “music” as unintelligible gobbledygook... Whichever camp you fall in, it cannot be denied that their chaotic compositions have been dissected and worshipped for decades now, and the quirky charisma of their respective frontmen Les Claypool and Mike Patton continue to be adored by many.

Come over to the Rosemount Hotel for a dose of their kookiest tunes! First to take the stage will be BUNGLE’S BOWEL OF CHILEY, a six-piece band presenting a wide variety of Mr. Bungle's most unhinged ditties. Once the opening act have finished melting faces, FRYMUS will culminate the evening by exploding the minds of all patrons left standing! There is no trio in the whole of Western Australia more equipped and skilled enough to fulfill the task of recapturing the colourful discography of Primus.
