When a deadly virus from the African jungle surfaces in a small California town, the clock starts ticking on a catastrophic epidemic. Army virologist Colonel Sam Daniels (Dustin Hoffman) and his team race to identify and contain the pathogen—a terrifying airborne strain of a disease similar to Ebola that kills within days.
