Hook at The Revival House Perth

Peter Banning (Robin Williams) is a corporate lawyer who's forgotten how to have fun, missing his children's precious moments while glued to his cell phone. During a family trip to London to visit the elderly Wendy Darling (Maggie Smith), his worst nightmare comes true: his kids are kidnapped and whisked away to Neverland by the vengeful Captain Hook (Dustin Hoffman). The shocking truth emerges—Peter is actually Peter Pan, all grown up, who abandoned Neverland years ago to live an ordinary life. Now, to save his children, this out-of-shape, anxiety-ridden adult must return to the island of his youth, rediscover his forgotten identity, and remember how to fly. With the help of Tinkerbell (Julia Roberts) and a new generation of Lost Boys led by the scrappy Rufio (Dante Basco), Peter must become Pan once more and face Hook in the ultimate showdown.

Steven Spielberg's 1991 imagining of what happened after the fairy tale ended is a lavish spectacle of practical sets, imaginative production design, and pure movie magic. The legendary director transforms the question "What if Peter Pan grew up?" into an adventure about rediscovering childhood wonder and the importance of being present for your family. Williams delivers both comedy and genuine pathos as a man reclaiming his lost self, while Hoffman chews scenery with gleeful menace as a Hook who's been waiting decades for this rematch. Bob Hoskins shines as the loyal Smee, and John Williams' soaring score—from the haunting "Flight to Neverland" to the triumphant "The Banquet"—remains one of his most magical compositions.
