Leslie Mann shines as Ursula, torn between her uptight fiancé back home and this wonderfully unconventional jungle king who speaks to elephants and counts them among his best friends.

Weisman's energetic direction captures the spirit of Jay Ward's classic cartoon with live-action slapstick that never feels mean-spirited.
