The Throw
WHERE RABBITS AND SPOTLIGHTS COLLIDE
The Throw gives creatives an opportunity to showcase their wares to new audiences. It also gives audiences an opportunity to get up close and personal with the people whose music, books, photographs, paintings, pottery — anything that’s created — they consume.
Hosted by author Lorraine Horsley, this edition of The Throw takes in live music, comedy, spoken word, readings and interplay between creatives that is more revealing than a nude swim at the beach in the depths of winter.
“We want to showcase artists as well as their arts in places where people can relax, have a drink, if they want to, and see the personal side of creators,” said Lorraine Horsley. “We created a show that will be fun, revealing and give the audience plenty of opportunity to get involved.”
