Craig Bloxom: bass player, singer & songwriter from the legendary SPY V SPY returns to wallop West Australia with his new band RSPYS and bring some SPY thunder to the West!
Playing all the classic Spys songs: Don’t Tear it Down, Credit Cards, Use Your Head, Harry’s Reasons, Snowblind, One Of A Kind, Hardtimes and also the tremendous Sallie-Anne, Clarity of Mind and All Over The World and more.
RSPYS take over where SPY V SPY left off with Bloxy back on bass & vocals bringing all the SPYS THUNDER & ROAR to West Aussie!
Huge back in the 1980’s, SPY V SPY had massive tours of WA up and down the coast from Karratha to Kalgoorlie & Perth to Albany.
Last year saw the release of RSPYS album Unity Gain which went top 10 on the Australian Aria charts and kicked things in the guts for Craig’s new band after 20 years cheffing and being away from the music industry. All the big songs of SPY V SPY are featured on this new album which went to number 7 on the charts!
Both Craig & Chris (drums) are chefs who started work on a Reggae/Rock rebuild of SPY v SPY for a passionate & keen Australian & Brasilian audience. When Te Koi: a Maori from New Zealand joined RSPYS with his roaring guitar he firmly locked the 3 piece in to place with his chopping & slashing power.
The band also just returned from a triumphant tour of Brasil with the Hoodoo Gurus & GANGgajang which re-connected their Brasilian fans to the music of SPY V SPY in a Reggae/Rock format.
Don’t let the word “REGGAE” fool you…. the RSPYS have a massive battering attack on stage which takes all the sensational songs of SPY V SPY & releases them with the smashing spirit of The Police & The Clash.
Craig Bloxom lived and went to school for 5 years in Perth as a youngster so it’s a homecoming for Bloxy who’s stoked to announce three special RSPYS shows on the W.A. long weekend!

Saturday May 31st at The River Hotel, Margaret River
Sunday 1st June at the Indian Ocean Hotel in Scarborough
