Queen Qoral 'Sex Wax' Single Launch Bonanza

'Sex Wax' a track about summer sand, sea breeze and surfboards. Queen Qoral are throwing a huge party to celebrate its release 29th March - Swan Hotel Freo.
Queen Qoral - Her majesty, in all her glory, has been described as enigmatic, unique and memorable with performances that leave a crowd calling "One More!". Perth's surf rock sweethearts were born out of the unlikely friendship of two drifting spirits, Jack Taylor and Michael Bowers who met at their local skatepark during a period of doubt and disconnection in each of their lives. Who could have known at that moment that three years later they would grace stages with such a high energy and catchy sound being the glue that holds each other together; with the recruitment of brother Tyran Bowers, who helped bring a higher energy percussive element to propel the project into full fruition.
The Band’s lyrical songwriting and melodies create positive energy to outshine any darkness and bring colour to a black and white world. Queen Qoral’s writing style is metaphorical, philosophical and fun, invoking thought into the listener. Music isn’t about making catchy songs for QQ, it's a statement.
The band is mainly inspired by 70’s-80’s alternative music, 2000’s rock and the new sound of Australian surf rock that shows through their melodies, riffs and grooves.
