Kites represents a significant artistic shift for the band, as they explore new territory with acoustic guitars and a softer falsetto, drawing inspiration from early Radiohead and Coldplay releases. Composed with a stripped back writing style, the track evokes the deep personal connections we form throughout childhood. It’s unique structure, melody, and chord progression pushes the sound beyond the Australian Indie scene, creating a vibe that is entirely authentic to them.
