PIGROOT
Ash Baroque & Riot Poof present PIGROOT.
From the fruits of Mother’s loins, Ash Baroque conjures up PIGROOT - Perth's filthiest new dive bar hosts a midsummer deca-DANCE for queers & enthusiasts of pearls, swine & song
The seeds of spring are ripe for the picking and Pigroot is where you’ll feast upon a banquet of the senses. Roll in the sty and dance to phat filthy deejays, squeal at the trough with our
poof-romance piggies or get crackling on the mini grazing table of delicious seasonal slop. Oink oink!
In the spirit of spit roast, we accordingly indulge your desire to dress for decadence and debauchery, as one lover will be chosen as best dressed and receive a prize announced upon the night! We gather together for summer solstice to honour the sun, love magick, fire, sacred unions, sensual pleasure and the abundance of nature. Get involved as tickets are limited!
Pigroot is hosted at queer friendly venue Old Habits neighbourhood bar.
The party is curated and produced by nocturnal nancy & nightlife stalwart Ash Baroque and his new production house Riot Poof. Amongst a variety of collaborators you may remember Ash from legendary Perth happenings RICHARD, FANDANGO, BAR BITCH CHEW ART, BRIEF ENCOUNTERS or MOTHER’S MILK…..producing conceptual parties for Sydney Mardi Gras, Perth Festival plus many more.
Pig Root features the creme de la creme of Perth’s queer performance makers & deejays to be announced….
