Those pretty fly tribute hombres RENEGADES OF ROCK come back out and play on FRIDAY 25 OCTOBER to celebrate 30TH ANNIVERSARY of THE OFFSPRING’S 1994 punk rock classic “SMASH", with a special encore show at THE STIRLING ARMS HOTEL in GUILDFORD, performing the album in full including the smash hits "Self Esteem", "Come Out and Play" and "Gotta Get Away", plus a selection of THE OFFSPRING fan faves!

In the early Nineties, Epitaph Records, founded by Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz more than a decade earlier to release his own band’s music, had established itself as ground zero for the new wave of West Coast punk, putting out discs by speedy, skatey So-Cal acts like NOFX, Pennywise and mohawked Berkeley street urchins Rancid. But it was the Offspring that would prove to be the imprint’s breakout stars. Smash, the band’s second album for Epitaph and third overall, was released on April 8, 1994 (Richard Beinstock, www.rollingstone.com)

“You gotta keep ‘em separated.” With five words, The Offspring created one of the most memorable moments of the 1990s. (Jason Brow, www.usmagazine.com)

In just its first year of release, Smash, fuelled by two massive MTV and radio hits, “Come Out and Play” and “Self Esteem” (as well as a minor third single, “Gotta Get Away”), sold more than five million copies in the U.S. alone. (Richard Beinstock, www.rollingstone.com)

With more than 10 million sales to its name, Smash remains the best-selling independently-released rock album of all time. Not just that, it is also one of the great eternal punk rock bangers. (Ian Winwood, www.kerrang.com)
