SUB/stance, Forte Touring & Earth Agency are proud to present this massive celebration of breakbeat culture featuring Breakage (UK), Djinn (UK), Jaise and a selection of Perth's finest Jungle/Drum & Bass selectors.

Born in Slough, Berkshire, Breakage was first introduced to dance music at the age of seven by his foster brother, and after moving to London as a teen, he became enamoured with the city's jungle scene. At just 16 he produced a critically acclaimed remix of Nasty Habits' "Here Come the Drums," released a series of EPs through the influential Reinforced label, and dropped his debut album, This Too Shall Pass, in 2006.

A year later, he signed to Shy FX's Digital Soundboy imprint and changed his signature sound to the minimal rhythms and heavy basslines of the emerging dubstep genre. He appeared on Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe's "Hottest Record in the World Today" slot five times in a row, while he became an in-demand remixer for the likes of Florence and the Machine, David Guetta, and Massive Attack.

In 2010, he released his second LP, Foundation and his third in 2015, When the Night Comes. His own label Index has become a buy on sight label for Jungle/Drum & Bass enthusiasts worldwide and continues to push the boundaries of quality in the genre.

Established 2004 & playing sets at ​raves and club nights since the age of 17, Djinn’s evolving style spans a 20 year journey; first playing breaks to 2000 dnb, before reverting to 90’s oldskool, later representing in dubstep, before reaching a current-day precision of deep sub-heavy jungle and drum & bass. 

She's dropped her distinctive selection at countless events across the UK, & reached internationally for over 17 years, having played shows across 4 continents & represented for many of d&b / jungle's most reputable & longstanding events & labels, including Metalheadz, 1985, Hardware, Virus, Samurai Music, Rupture & many more. 

No newcomer, Djinn has been a stalwart of the north for two decades & the only dnb/jungle artist to be shortlisted at this year's UK Northern Music Awards, having received a nomination for DJ of the Year earlier in 2024. 

A versatile, meticulous DJ, Djinn's uncompromising style captures the true essence of authentic underground Jungle and D&B; drawing deep on selection & blending a devastating combination of timeless sub-heavy cuts, deep atmospheric dubs, & dark brooding amenism.

Djinn has held her current live bi-weekly radio show on Jungletrain since 2017, as well as having held residencies in London, Manchester, & Lancaster. Past solo radio shows include Kunninmindz , Dubterrain and SRF Virus Switzerland. 

She's released dubstep & jungle productions on various labels since 2009.

Rounding out the lineup is Perths own representative of Metalheadz & Dispatch Recordings Jaise, Syrus, NVS, I33a & SammyC to bring you a Summer Sunday Session of proper underground Drum & Bass.
