Don’t Tell Daisy is an emerging four-piece band consisting of two sisters and two friends from the wheatbelt of Western Australia. Holly (guitar and vocals), Lottie (keyboard and vocals), Harley (drums) and Aidan (bass) launched “Don’t Tell Daisy” in late 2023 after playing as a rural cover band for several years.
Don’t Tell Daisy has a unique sound, characterised by the sister’s beautiful harmonies, extraordinary drumming, and complimenting rhythm sections. The band uses raw lyrics to tell stories and lean into indie/folk sounds, and aspires to bands such as The Waifs and Angus and Julia Stone.
Don’t Tell Daisy regularly performs throughout Perth and rural WA, and successfully launched their first single, “Little Things”, in April. Their second single, “Subway”, is an emotional indie-folk song, with tight harmonies and signature acoustic guitar and bass sections. Come along and celebrate their newest single at the Indian Ocean Hotel on Friday, October 11th, for an awesome night of new local sounds! Don’t Tell Daisy will be supported by up and coming female artist, Ilish, indie-rock boys, Circa the Sun, and Mandurah based legends, Hello Stranger.
