Influenced by the sounds of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Creedence, Lead Belly, and local country legends, his soulful music reflects a childhood steeped in country authenticity. Slim is a true purveyor of traditional and Chicago blues, fresh off the boat in the Land Down Under from upstate New York. Slim's playing paints a vivid picture of the Mississippi Delta, even amidst the vast landscapes of the Australian outback. Joined onstage by the vocal folk-wonder that is Biscuit, their performances are a raw and authentic journey through the timeless sounds of the South and the Midwest.
