The Barstools "Wish You Would Quit" single launch

Australian heavy blues rock band The Barstools are set to release their debut single Wish You Would Quit at the Bird in Northbridge on Friday 9 August. Joining them on the night will be garage punkers The Shakeys and fuzz drenched rockers Black River Ransom with acoustic troubadour Joe Bludge opening up proceedings. 

Recorded by Scott Quartemain and Pete Grandison at Sumo Sound Studios, mixed by Quartermain and mastered by Grandison at Shanghai Twang, Wish You Would Quit is a blistering fast paced blues rocker about coercing the toxic characters in your life to hurry up and disappear. 

The tune will be available for purchase on seven inch vinyl, digitally from The Barstools Bandcamp page as well as streaming with the vinyl version featuring Never See Me Comin’, an uptempo garage boogie recorded during the same sessions as the b side. There’s also a film clip for Wish You Would Quit  in the can which was filmed by Michael “Gilroy” Geelhoad at the band's local Dog Swamp area that will become available for viewing and downloading on all the relevant platforms in the lead up to the event.
