Weather fronting his band The Regional Confluence or performing solo with his guitars, harmonics and a swagful of songs from his 6-album career, singer-songwriter Simon Marks continually delivers his passionate energetic shows that engage and entertain.
From appearing on festival bills nationally and abroad, to playing bars, house concerts, art galleries and everything in-between, including one time aboard a sinking ship, Simon is nothing if not adaptable. Often spontaneous, always entertaining, his live shows are a true joy to be part of and to be experienced at least once in your lifetime.
From folk to rock to ballads, Simon Marks captivated the crowd his sincerity, passion and talent” - The Music
Along the way Simon has collaborated with some of the nations finest musicians   including Hamish Davidson (The Davidson Brothers), Ben Franz (The Waifs) and Syd Green (Kasey Chambers) in creating a much-loved catalogue of works enjoyed by audiences both old and new.
A recent induction to the National Library of Australia Music Archive for his song Heather shone a light on the broad appeal of this singer-songwriter whilst simultaneously receiving significant airplay on ABC Radio for both Wally (The Mick Thomas Song) and Misfit from his ‘Big River, Little Stories’ album.
